"'elf & safety rules"

A review of Trafford Tavern by Herb written on Monday 9th of November 2009

On Tuesday 3rd Nov 2009 I visited the Trafford Tavern in the Trafford Centre for a chat about the 'good old days' with some of my working & retired work colleagues. We have been doing this for the past 8 years & when there is more than 5 of us then we drag two tables together, only this time we were stopped from doing this because of 'elf & safety rules (or so a waitress explained for fear of evacuating the Tavern). We were regulated to the upper floor, which was OK on this occasion but other times some of us have walking sticks, wheel chairs or even have Grand-children with us which will be no good then. I would like to know what 'elf & safety rules have been changed this year because we have been visiting this bar for the past 8 years..
