A review of Pakistan International Airlines by Sabir Hussain written on Friday 1st of March 2019
I have been trying to contact the bloody Manchester PIA office but no one is answering the phone and the alternative numbers don't connect.
My wife (after 20 years) decided to visit Pakistan with her elderly father and was due to return on Wed 27th Feb 2019.
They contacted the Lahore PIA office and they said we will refund your money and you should arrange your own flight back as there is nothing available until 31st March 2019!!!.
The issue here demonstrates the lack of apathy and pure disregard of the passengers who were on booked flights. PIA like any other world class airline should offer rerouted seats and book all passengers whose flights have been cancelled by PIA on the next flight in priority order ie Wednesday's passengers should be given seats before Thursday's etc.
PIA staff at every level are looking to exploit this situation and make a quick buck. Their insincere advice to offer refund ie (£550 for the ticket) and then for the passengers to book a new flight again (prices for flights on Friday/Saturday Sunday are in excess of £1,800 to £3,000) demonstrates I think the mentality of PIA and dare i say some so called Pakistani's to exploit people who are desperate (Allah save us from these type of organisations and people)
MY CHALLENGE TO PIA IS TO SIMPLY PUT A WORKING OFFICE (MANCHESTER) TELEPHONE NUMBER ON THIS SITE
