A review of Home Bargains by Mrs. Dawn Deans written on Friday 16th of January 2015
Went today and bought 2 chairs which were boxed up and really quite heavy and cumbersome. We wanted to see the chairs before we bought them. The manager was so friendly and took them off the top shelf and then out of the box for us. Nothing was too much trouble. She then put them behind one of the tills until we'd finished shopping. When we got to the till, the friendly assistant, who we now know was called Alan asked us if we'd like someone to carry them to our car - we wasn't even gonna ask, as most discount stores these days don't even help u with packing your bags - even if its quiet. His manner was jovial as he summoned the help of a young man who we later found out was called Lewis, who with a lovely friendly smile, carried both chairs to our car despite the fact that it was freezing! Nothing was too much trouble for the staff. It made a huge difference to our shopping experience and we will be recommending this store to all our friends and family. Keep up the good work Salford! .
