"Child neglect"

A parent was asked to come and pick their child up as they said he was sleepy, unwell and wasn't his usual self and she should take him to the hospital but when she arrived all she could see was the child to have a snotty nose so she still took him home anyway. For her then to get a phone call the following day to ask how his head was after banging it and having a bump. The parent wasn't informed when she picked her child up that they banged there head nor did the right out an accident form. Nursery's have a duty of care to look after a child and this nursery has failed this child they have poor duty of care towards children an neglect their needs!!.
