A review of The Fish Hut by Carolyn - Sheffield written on Monday 15th of September 2014
As a group of 11 starving travellers from Sheffield visiting Manchester Science Museum we were looking for somewhere to eat. We had noticed the Fish Hut on our way to the museum so decided to visit for lunch. We are very glad we did. The restaurant was extremely clean and the staff very helpful and friendly. We duly ordered our lunch and made our way upstairs to the seating area. This was nicely arranged with table and chairs for 2. We arranged the tables so we could all sit together. We explained to the waitress that we would put all the tables back. This didn't phase the waitress at all. Then the food arrived - wow it was well worth waiting for. The chips were very crispy and dry not swimming in grease. The fish was beautiful and white and tasted delightful. The Fishcakes were very tasty. Not one of our party could find fault with food. The tea and coffee were equally good. We told the waitress how lovely the food and service were and that we would come back to visit them when we do a return visit to the museum.
We would all recommend a visit to The Fish Hut, Liverpool Road, Manchester if you want an excellent fish and chip meal..
