A review of Lets Fress Deli by Deborah written on Wednesday 13th of August 2014
Let's Fress is a lifeline for me, as I'm bed bound and no longer able to cook. The soups are delicious with the exception of the chicken soup. The soup itself is fine but, oh dear, the knaidlach have the consistency and size of snooker balls! Because of this I no longer buy the chicken soup. Knaidlach should be light and fluffy, please, please could an improvement be made. Plea number 2 regards the chopped and fried fish. The texture is all wrong. The mixture appears to be over-blitzed in a food processer. I'm not suggesting that it chopped by hand, but mincing rather than blitzing would give a more authentic, and tasty, result.
Sorry for these two negatives, but I no longer buy the foods mentioned above and would love to do so again. Five stars for everything else, including service..
