"Don't even consider going!"

A review of The Cotton Tree Inn by David Hadfield written on Monday 30th of July 2012

Being the grandson of Samuel Hadfield, the licensee 1910-1930, and having a good knowledge of this once fine pub, I was extremely distressed to learn how much it has deteriated over the last few years. Having visited the pub a number of times during 2000-2010 I was not entirely surprised to hear of the shooting that took place there 26 May 2012. Rest in peace Samuel. .
