A review of Green End Primary School by Lynne Barker written on Sunday 15th of April 2012
From the nursery to the junior school, My last year was the 4th year just before high school, 1974. We all turned up for school every day. A place where we wanted to be. I don't recall anyone ever complain about being there. When we finished in our last year there, we were'nt glad to be going to high school. We wanted to stay where we were at Burnage Junior School. Obviously that was'nt possible as we had to get ready to go onto high school as we had reached age 11/12. I'm 49 years of age now and can still remember most of the teachers names. This school is still there and hope it continues for many years to come.....Good Luck to all those children that will spend their junior years there.......One last thing. You know when the school ment a lot when the 4th year children were crying like babies on the way home on our last day there, never to return again..Ex-pupil..Lynne Broadley, now Barker... :-).
