A review of Three Arrows Inn by Jude written on Tuesday 23rd of August 2011
The Three Arrows - we came across this as its near Heaton Park. Its extremely near the m60 - a stone's throw from junction 19 - so we found it very convenient.
We were very impressed by the warm and friendly atmosphere, bar staff who were nice to us and the interior design which is quite striking, almost 1950s classy, though a lot of the old oak beamed traditional structure has also been maintained and the bar is a good solid full bar with excellent cask beers, just for me it would have seemed.
To be honest I'm not too impressed with a lot of pub food but this Inn does NOT fall into that category - its really tasty, english style (at last!) with a few twists here and there. Solid, dependable stuff with a bit of flair, obviously really well cooked - freshly prepared I'm sure.
WE felt like we'd been well fed, and looked after, not to mention well watered. Very much hoping to return soon, its the kind of place you might go to for a special night too ...
