"Glendene childrens home."

A review of Glendene by Steve written on Thursday 24th of March 2011

During the late 1970's this was an assesment centre. It operated a three group system, red, Green (my group) and yellow groups. It catered for approximately 36 children.

There was also an insitue school adjacent to the assesment that catered for children who were persistant truents (I think).

I believe this home went on to chage from an assesment centre to some other (unknown) use in the 1980's/ 1990's. This has since changed it function again to an unknown function.

I would be grateful if any one can enlighten me as to when the various changes took place and what they were?.
